Lombardy Region (REGLOM)

The Lombardy Region is an organization which mission is to promote what society is able to construct in its various forms, by creating the conditions and the framework necessary for people, undertakings, entities and organisations to achieve their own projects and their own ideas.

The objectives of the Lombardy Regional Government’s current legislation are contained in the Regional Growth Programme, which is based on four thematic areas of commitment: institutional, social-economic and cultural growth, services to individuals and territorial. The area interested in the proposal is the Healthcare General Department which is collocated within the thematic area of services to individuals and is articulated in Organizational Units and Structures.

 

The group participated in numerous European and national projects in the health-care domain, a brief list follows: Co-Co (1), HECTOR (1), HANSA, STAR (1), Cardlink2 (1), Remedes (1), RHINE – AM, KIRHA Key Indicators for Regional HeAlth, DIDE DIdactic Distributed Environment, CAROLIN Cooperative Application for Remote OnLine INteractive diagnosis, VEPSY, CHARM, C-CARE; among them two are the most significant: INTERCARE – The Interworking and Interoperability of networked services for Healthcare using Internet-based technology and SUN2, an integrated IT system for health functionalities.

REGLOM will provide GPs and data input (Autoimmune Disease data) for the diagnostic LOC. Also REGLOM will be one of the main responsible partners for the validation of the platform, the pilot studies and the evaluation of the project.
